Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing (4PH) Program
The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) plays a key role in the implementation of the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Housing Program, the nation’s flagship housing program under President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr..
As a key shelter agency attached to the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD), SHFC is mandated to provide socialized housing financing solutions to low-income families in the informal and formal sectors.
Who Can Apply:
Individuals who are employed in government agencies or institutions, private firms or companies; or those who come from the formal and informal sectors are all welcome to apply. Particularly, to qualify for 4PH under SHFC, applicants must meet the following criteria:
A. Membership in a Community Association (CA)
- Applicants must be members of a Community Association registered with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) or any government agency.
- The CA must represent families in need of housing, including those living in danger zones, affected by government infrastructure projects, court-ordered demolitions, disasters, or calamities, and those from specific sectors requiring resettlement assistance.
B. Applicant Qualifications:
- Must be a Filipino citizen aged 18 to 65 years old at the time of loan application AND approval.
- Must not have availed of any government housing programs.
- Must not own any real property (land or building).
- Must not be a professional squatter or involved in squatting syndicates.
