Valley View Township: A beacon of progress in socialized housing in Mindanao

Valley View Township, located just minutes away from the PHIVIDEC Economic Zone in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, is a housing project by the Social Housing Finance Corporation under the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program—the flagship initiative of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.

This theme park-inspired development is set to turn over its first building, providing permanent homes to over 300 families from Tagoloan and nearby areas. It will comprise 25 twelve-story residential buildings and offer a comprehensive array of facilities, including an entrance promenade with a water feature and landscaped grounds a clubhouse, a livelihood center, commercial spaces, basketball court, pocket gardens, playgrounds, and a chapel.

Led by SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa, under the guidance of Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar, Valley View forms part of the 81 ongoing 4PH projects of the corporation. Its implementation is overseen by SHFC 4PH VisMin Vice President Engr. Felman Gilbang.
