SHFC Undergoes GCG Validation for 2024 Performance Scorecard

In a move to ensure transparency, accountability and performance excellence, Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) welcomed the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) for an onsite validation on the agency’s 2024 Performance Scorecard on Monday at SHFC head office in Makati City.
Representing SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa, Executive Vice President Atty. Junefe Payot led the presentation of reports and supporting documents to GCG validation team, headed by Division Chief Norbert Germano.
The validation focused on the performance metrics outlined in the approved 2024 Corporate Performance Scorecard, which measures SHFC’s service delivery, strategic performance, and alignment with national housing agenda.
Joining the session were key SHFC senior officers, including Support Cluster Senior Vice President Atty. Leo Deocampo, Resettlement Services Vice President Bob Flores, Mega Manila Vice President Engr. Elsa Juliana Calimlim and Corporate Planning and Communications Vice President Florencio Carandang, Jr., and Compliance Officer and Board Secretary Atty. Karoline Abello-Tordecilla.
The GCG validation process underscores the importance of accountability and effectiveness among GOCCs, including SHFC as the lead implementer of the expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program—President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s flagship initiative.
With Laxa at the helm, SHFC reaffirmed its commitment to improving the quality of life of Filipinos by providing affordable, decent and safe housing.
