SHFC highlights housing initiatives at Calamba Housing Summit

SHFC Laguna Branch Manager James Albeth Mabulay served as a panelist at the Calamba Housing Summit at the Hotel Marciano in Brgy. Real, Calamba, Laguna on October 18. During his presentation, he gave an overview of the corporation’s mandate and outlined its various housing programs, with a particular focus on initiatives under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.
Mabulay was joined SHFC Laguna Loan Administration Unit OIC-Chief of Division Eva Brenda Amo and other staff members from the branch. Representatives from the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, National Housing Authority, Home Development Mutual Fund, and local government units across the province, also graced the event.
Led by President and CEO Federico Laxa, SHFC is one of the Key Shelter Agencies implementing the 4PH, which seeks to address the country’s 6.5 million housing backlog. Currently, the agency is actively working on 12 ongoing 4PH projects, which will generate more than 45,000 units for Filipinos in need of decent, affordable, and resilient housing.
