SHFC earns ‘unmodified opinion’ from COA

The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) has earned an “unmodified opinion” from the Commission on Audit (COA) for its financial statements for the calendar year 2023. This is the highest audit rating that state auditors can give to government institutions.
In the Independent Auditor’s report, COA stated, “The Auditor expressed an unmodified opinion on the fairness of presentation of the financial statements of the SHFC for the years ended December 31, 2023, and 2022.”
