SHFC conducts Financial Management Training for personnel

The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), through its Program Development and Enhancement Group, led by Vice President Atty. Maria Rosalie Richa A. Taguian, and its Human Resource Development Department, headed by Manager Maria Alfonsa Vargas, conducted a Financial Management Training on Wednesday in Makati.
The session was attended by 26 female and 11 male SHFC personnel, equipping them with essential financial skills to enhance their financial well-being.
Featuring Insurance and Community Enhancement Department Manager Cezar Macaspac as the resource speaker, the training aimed to enhance financial literacy and equip employees with the knowledge to make informed financial decisions.
It covered a range of topics, including efficient financial management, strategies for reducing financial stress, and understanding the concepts of budgeting, saving, investing, and debt management. The session also tackled the importance of preparing for emergencies, planning for retirement, and setting long-term financial goals.
Participants explored various financial products and services, gaining insights into the benefits of credit cards, loans, insurance, and investment options.
Through engaging discussions and real-life scenarios, attendees learned practical ways to develop smart financial habits that will help them achieve financial freedom.
