MAKATI City – Social Housing Finance Corporation President and CEO Federico Laxa warmly welcomed Ormoc City Mayor Lucy Torres-Gomez during her courtesy visit earlier to explore a potential collaboration on a housing project in the “City of Beautiful People.”
Their discussion centered on an initiative that will address the city’s housing backlog, which currently stands at about 4,000 units.
Aligned with President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s pro-poor expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, Laxa and Torres-Gomez both expressed strong commitment to providing decent, secure, and inclusive housing solutions for the Ormocanons.
Also present in the meeting were Support Cluster Senior Vice President Atty. Leo Deocampo, Northwestern Mindanao & VisMin 4PH Vice President Engr. Felman Gilbang, and Resettlement Services Group Vice President Bob Flores.
