The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC), led by President and CEO Federico Laxa, recently held its annual corporate planning activity from March 12 to 14 in Clark, Pampanga. The event, facilitated by the Corporate Planning and Communications Group, brought together senior management to align on strategic priorities for the year ahead.

One of the highlights of the activity was the unveiling of the corporation’s new Vision, Mission, and Core Values, reflecting and reaffirming the agency’s commitment to advancing its strategic goals as a Key Shelter Agency with a significant role under the revitalized National Shelter Program.

President Laxa underscored that the timely completion of SHFC’s Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) projects will enable the agency to create a template for President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s flagship initiative, streamlining and accelerating the implementation of subsequent projects.

As part of the activity, President Laxa, along with senior officers and members of the SHFC Board of Directors, visited Crystal Peak Estates in Barangay Del Carmen, City of San Fernando, Pampanga—one of SHFC’s pioneering 4PH initiatives.

This development, comprising more than 10,000 units, will soon house over 300 families in its first completed building. Three additional buildings, scheduled for completion within the first quarter of this year, will accommodate another 700 families.

The site visit comes less than two years after SHFC President Laxa and DHSUD Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar accompanied President Marcos in assessing the project’s progress.
