Published on 26 October 2024

The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) has announced a (One) 1-Month Moratorium for qualified member-beneficiaries of community associations in areas severely affected by Typhoon Kristine on Friday.

In line with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s disaster response strategy, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Jose Rizalino Acuzar has directed immediate relief and recovery efforts for affected families.

During an interview on #BagongPilipinasNgayon, Laxa stated, “Magbibigay ulit ng financial relief doon sa mga severely affected na beneficiaries natin.” He added, “Ibig sabihin nito magbibigay tayo ng moratorium doon sa pagbabayad nila para maibsan naman ang kanilang mga gastusin during the time na nagre-recover pa sila dito sa kalamidad”.

Keep safe and stay protected, mga Ka-SHFC!
