SHFC bags major awards during the National Shelter Month celebration

The Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) marked a successful participation in the National Shelter Month celebration by bagging major awards in various competitions alongside the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) and other key shelter agencies. Held under the theme “Matibay na Tahanan, Matatag na Komunidad Para sa Bagong Pilipinas,” the event culminated on November 8 at the DHSUD Auditorium in Quezon City.

The SHFC contingent achieved outstanding success, securing 1st place in the Battle of the Bands, 2nd runner-up in the Poster-Making Contest, and 2nd runner-up in the Chorale Competition.

SHFC President and CEO Federico Laxa proudly congratulated the winners and all participants, celebrating the agency’s achievements.

These successes reflect SHFC’s dedication not only to promoting its mission in the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino Program (4PH) but also to fostering community spirit through creative and collaborative activities.
