On May 21, officials from Pag-IBIG, or the Home Development Mutual Fund, led by President and CEO Marilene Acosta, visited Crystal Peak Estates—a housing development project of the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC) situated in Brgy. Del Carmen, San Fernando City, Pampanga. The project, funded through a loan from Pag-IBIG, aims to provide quality and affordable housing for over 10,000 public and private sector employees, including overseas Filipino workers.
Collaboration for Affordable Housing
Both SHFC and Pag-IBIG are key shelter agencies and government-owned and -controlled corporations. These agencies collaborate in terms of financing and refinancing programs to expedite and realize the ambitious target of filling the extensive 6-million housing gap in the country.

During the visit, President Acosta was accompanied by Mr. Alexander Hilario Aguilar, Deputy Chief Executive Officer; Atty.
